Biopolymers

In the biopolymer area, WEP’s strategy is to establish collaborations and partnerships with Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology companies wishing to develop novel PolyPEG® and GlycoPol™ versions of molecules to enhance their therapeutic effect.  A typical collaboration starts with WEP working with its collaborators to define and produce the optimal biopolymer for the purpose and to establish the most appropriate conditions for conjugation to the target molecule. 

WEP is seeking to license-out the PolyPEG® and GlycoPol™ technologies for specific target biological molecules and/or applications on either an exclusive or non-exclusive basis.

Speciality polymers

WEP’s strategy in speciality polymers is to continue to exploit its Living Radical Polymerisation core technology to produce novel polymers for high value applications with partners who have specific expertise in this diverse range of areas.   Our strategy is to grant a series of licences to our technology for particular speciality fields and/or applications.

Manufacturing and supply

WEP offers manufacturing and supply of biopolymers and speciality polymers through its CMO partners.
